The Greene County High School music department will host musicians from Perry, Boone, Nevada, ADM, Webster City, Carroll, and Gilbert High Schools for the Iowa High School Music Association state solo and ensemble 3A contest this Saturday, March 28. The contest will begin at 8 am and will conclude at 5:30 pm.
All Greene County High School band and choir students will perform throughout the day with the larger Greene County ensembles performing as follows:
- 8:10 am – percussion choir
- 10:10 am – brass choir
- 1:10 pm – clarinet choir
- 1:50 pm – saxophone choir
- 2:07 pm – madrigal choir
- 3:10 pm – chamber choir
The public is encouraged to attend. There is a suggested donation admission at the door.
